Singles Challenge Ladder
The Lincoln Hills Pickleball Club has started a “Singles Challenge Ladder” for Men & women. Open challenge until March 17, 2009. 2 out of 3 game matches to 11 points. Report match scores to Helmut Koehne, either by phone or via email. On March 18th active players will be placed on the “Singles Ladder” according to their records. Challenge Ladder Rules
CHALLENGING RULES:
Teams that are on "The Ladder" can challenge a Team ranked up to 3 positions above them. If the challenging team wins, it will move into the position of the losing team. The losing teamand the teams between the challenging and challenged teams will move down 1 position. If the challenging team loses, "The Ladder" will remain unchanged. Teams that are not already on "The Ladder" can challenge one of the 3 last positioned teams. If the unranked team wins, it will take the position of the loosing team and the last place team will drop off "The Ladder". If the challenging team loses, "The Ladder" will remain unchanged.
MATCH RULES:
The rules of the USAPA shall govern the matches. Each match shall be a best of three 11-point games, with a minimum of a 2 point lead.A coin toss shall determine first choice of service or side. The loser has second choice.Sides and initial service shall be switched upon completion of the first game. If a third game becomes necessary sides shall be switched after the first team reaches ascore of 6 points. If the2 teams agree, a referee can be asked to officiate the match.

Helmut Koehne will update "The Ladder" as needed.
GENERAL LADDER RULE:
Challenged teams have to accept challenges. Date and time of the match has to be agreed upon bythe 2 teams. Each "Ladder Team" has to play at least two matches per month. INACTIVE TEAMS WILL BE DROPPED from "The Ladder".
